Charity Concert Given by Music School
On Sunday, October 24, local students from the Fine Arts Music School
entertained patients, visitors and caregivers at Burke Rehabilitation Center in
White Plains, with their annual outreach concert which included compositions
from Beethoven, Mozart, Clementi, Chopin and Debussy, as well as Scott Joplin,
ragtime and some original arrangements. The school’s founder and director
Janet Page, enjoys a warm welcome each year, presenting her select students
to brighten up the patients day with music. Special guest artist Ron Anthony,
pianist/vocalist, provided a dynamic finale to the concert, with songs by
jazz and ragtime greats, topped off with some novelty arrangements of classic
popular hits.

A Thanksgiving concert given by the Fine Arts Music School was heartily received by the patients, visitors and caregivers at Burke Rehabilitation Hospital in White Plains, NY on Sunday, November 6th. The Theme of the performance was “Thanksgiving is Thanks-living” and included presentations of traditional songs, hymns and sing-alongs. Three topics also included “A merry heart doeth good like a medicine” “The joy of the Lord is your strength” and “Rejoice in the Lord always.” The program concluded with two uplifting Chopin Waltzes played by guest artist William Goodhue.

Holiday Concert Given in Annual Charity Concert
A festive holiday concert given by the Fine Arts Music School was received by
the patients, visitors and caregivers at Burke Rehabilitation Hospital in White Plains, NY
on Sunday, December 2nd. The program concluded with special guest artist and
guitarist Joshua Marks who gave an outstanding performance of songs by Jule Styne,
Gershwin and other Great American Songbook luminaries.
Fine Arts Music School presented a program of piano music, for the Sarah Neuman Center in Larchmont, N.Y. Sunday October 27. Music offerings included selections from Mozart, Dvorak, Arlen, Strauss, and Chopin.
Performers from The Fine Arts Music School and guest artist William Goodhue, presented a delightful offering of musical styles to residence and caregivers at the Sarah Neuman Center in Larchmont, NY. The musical genre ranged from jazz to classical, including major works by Chopin and Liszt, as well as, Italian folk tarantellas. The annual concert theme this year "Piano for Everyone" was received enthusiastically by all.

Piano Community Concert Series Program.
Nov.13, Fine Arts Music School in Larchmont, NY celebrated its 12th annual performance of the Piano Community Concert Series Program. This year at the Sarah Neuman Center in Mamaroneck, NY, residents and caregivers enjoyed Sunday afternoon's concert featuring a variety of musical selections which included music from Cole Porter, a duet and Tango by Rodriquez, favorites by Mozart, Beethoven and Grieg.
Faculty member William Goodhue as guest artists played the Hungarian Rhapsody No.5 by Liszt, Etude No.3, Polonaise No.1 by Chopin and a finale of some delightful Italian folk songs which were enjoyed very much by all.
